My social media post January 1, 2020 read as follows:

Going into 2020 with perfect vision!

I DID NOT SEE MARCH COMING!!!!

I was scheduled to speak in eight states and Canada! We were planning a trip to Nigeria.

March 16th, 2020 due to Covid -19 my schedule was wiped clean ( I like to think with Clorox wipes)

 I then found out I was an ESSENTIAL worker, not as a Chaplain, or as a minister, but as an IDOC employee!

Making sack lunches, delivering commissary, locking and unlocking cells for restroom breaks!

All essential work, but not my calling, so when 2021 started opening up, I went to see Henry Cho at a clean comedy club in Greenwood, IN. called GUTTYS!

I went home, told my wife I need something that is not church, and not prison. I did not plan on leaving either;  just needed some personal therapy. So I signed up for an open mic, and fell in love with stand up comedy!

Shout out to Steve and Dennis with Gutty's Comedy Club I am now a STAND UP COMEDIAN!
